To help assure that your event goes as
smoothly as possible in a professional manner, some often overlooked items of concern are listed
below.
-
The stage and all equipment areas are required to be dry
and safe - water/moisture and audio equipment do not mix.
-
Venue access for load-in and setup should be 2
hours prior to sound check.
-
Sound checks should typically be one hour before show
time.
-
An input list of microphone, DI signal and monitor
requirements are required at time of booking.
-
At minimum, two 20 amp circuits (5-15 Edison
wall sockets) are
required for the sound system power OR distro
access to a 3P4W grounded
240V/120V receptacle/service
at the stage, 30A or 50A load capacity typical. Standard 14-30 or 14-50
can be accommodated.
-
Outdoor events where electrical service is not normally
provided will require a licensed electrician to drop the appropriate
service within 50 feet of the stage.
-
An unobstructed engineer mix position is desirable, 50 feet in front of the stage
if possible. This area should be large enough for a 5x2 foot rectangular table with access to all sides.
-
A large cable (audio snake) and power may need to be run from the
FOH mix position to the stage. This is usually done either overhead
or along a wall in some circumstances. The snake can not be laid across a
path or walk way.
-
Venues with difficult access such as flights of stairs may require a
surcharge ( additional labor costs incurred by Pisces )
-
Two track (stereo) board mixes are available upon request,
delivered in mp3 or CD format. These recordings are appropriate for demo
purposes.
-
Modest stage fill lighting w/par56 cans on trees available upon request, additional
fees may apply.
